SHOOTER INFORMATION

OUR PROGRAM

The Heart of Maryland Trap League features Spring and Fall tournaments, each consisting of 10 shoots spanning 10-12 weeks depending on holidays. Each season tournament is independent from the other, and the shooter’s 8 highest scores are counted toward the final standings. Handicap Yardage Group winners are recognized weekly. There are also Hi-Gun and Modified Lewis prize options available.

Each shoot consists of 50 targets: 25 from the 16-yard line and another 25 from your handicap yardage.

Shooter’s starting yardage will be 2 yards off their ending yardage in the HOM. Shooters without an established yardage in the HOM will be given 2 yards off their longest yardage in any league or ATA. New trap shooters without experience in any league will start at the Temporary 20-yard line.

The 2-yard reduction will only be given at first sign up during the first 3 weeks of the league. If you were a Winner of the Fall League you will not receive a reduction. Runner-Up and Third Place will receive a 1-yard reduction.

Eye and ear protection are MANDATORY at all clubs.

PRICING

The Heart of Maryland Trap League has set up the following pricing structure: The entry fee each week is $24.00 for adults, while Jr’s and Sub-Jr’s entry fee is only $12.00. Juniors who opt to play the Lewis or Hi-Gun will be charged the adult rate of $24.00. Options available to all shooters are Modified Lewis at $7.00, Hi-Gun at $2.00, and Rolling Jackpot at $2.00. Following this structure, an adult who plays the Lewis, Hi-Gun, and Rolling Jackpot options will pay a total of $35.00 each week.
